22-Year-Old Man Dies in Libertyville Crash on Saturday
A semi hit a Volkswagen at Peterson and Harrison roads.

A passenger in a Volkswagen Beetle died in a collision between the car and a semi tractor-trailer at Peterson and Harrison roads in Libertyville Saturday at about 2:45 a.m. The 41-year-old woman driving the semi was not hurt. The 22-year-old woman driving the car sustained minor injuries and was taken to Advocate Condell Hospital. Killed in the accident was a 22-year-old man. Police are still investigating and toxicology reports are pending, police said in a statement.
