4 Motorcyclists Injured, Road Closed Hours After Crash On 1-94

Illinois State Police said the Friday morning crash affected northbound traffic for miles as of Friday afternoon.

DEERFIELD, IL — At least four motorcyclists were injured in a traffic crash Friday morning on northbound Interstate 94 near Russell Road, state police said.

A portion of northbound lanes were closed Friday afternoon since the crash at around 10:20 a.m. Illinois State Police said officials responded to the scene where two motorcycles, each holding a driver and passenger, were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

All lanes near the incident were closed as of 10:49 a.m. and were opened at 2 p.m.

Solid traffic on I-94 was reported back to Rosecrans Road due to the investigation.
