Coroner IDs Lake County Man Killed In Rollover Crash
The collision happened Monday afternoon near Antioch.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified a 37-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Antioch.
Carlos Zamora, of Wauconda, died Monday afternoon following the collision in the area of West Grass Lake Road and Broadway Avenue in unincorporated Antioch, according to a news release fro the Lake County Coroner's Office.
Deputies were called to the scene of the collision at about 1:10 p.m. and found a heavily damaged GMC Sierra. Bystanders helped to get Zamora out of the GMC and he was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center where he later died.

A preliminary investigation shows the GMC was headed west on West Grass Lake Road when it went off the road, hit a utility pole and rolled over.
Preliminary results from an autopsy show Zamora died from blunt force injuries as a result of a crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
