Coroner IDs Man, 26, Killed In Crash Near Antioch: Police
A 26-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle collision near Antioch has been identified as Joseph Eli, of Neenah, Wisconsin.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — A 26-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle collision near Antioch has been identified as Joseph Eli, of Neenah, Wisconsin.
Preliminary results from an autopsy show Eli died from blunt force injuries as a result of a crash, according to a news release from the coroner's office.
Eli died in the collision, which happened in the area of Grass Lake Road and Bluff Lane in unincorporated Antioch at about 4:45 a.m. on Monday, according to authorities. Eli's vehicle hit a tree, and Eli was ejected from the vehicle.

Eli was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
