Dairy Dream to Open a Week Ahead of Schedule
The family-owned drive in is taking advantage of the weather warm up.

With snow on the ground that sparkles in the sunlight because of the layer of ice on top of it, it is hard to imagine the days when you put on your flip flops and head out for an ice cream cone. But those days are coming. And, in Libertyville, the days of ice cream are coming sooner than expected.
Dairy Dream announced on its Facebook page Friday that they have moved its 2015 opening day to March 15. The original opening day was scheduled for March 22.
“The weather is breaking so OPENING DAY has been moved up to MARCH 14! C’mon Spring!!!,” the post states.
