Drugs Into Jail Attempt, Theft, More Crime: Lake Co. Sheriff
The Lake County Sheriff's Office reports arrests across the area that took place during the last week of July 2019.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Reported by the Lake County Sheriff's Office:
Wednesday, July 24
Attempt to foil/defraud a drug test
Seth A. Stittgen, 31, of Wonder Lake, was arrested Wednesday, July 24 in the 0-100 block of N. MLK Jr. Avenue, Waukegan, on accusations of defrauding a drug screening on July 24. His bond was set at $300,000 (10 percent to apply). Since his arrest, Stittgen is facing several other charges including armed violence, cocaine possession, and two counts of felony possession/use of a firearm, according to the sheriff's office website. His court date is set for Aug. 9 in Lake County, where he remains in jail.

Unlawful possession of a controlled substance — attempt to bring into jail
Davario McDowell, 19, of Chicago, is facing new charges stemming from accusations he tried bringing MDMA (a controlled substance) into the Lake County Jail July 24. According to the sheriff's office website, McDowell was already in jail facing charges for armed robbery and theft. He's being held on $200,000 bond (10 percent to apply), and his next court date is set for Aug. 19.

Warrant arrest: Failure to appear on several charges
Rebecca R. Kunz, 22, of Harvard, is being held on $100,000 bond (10 percent to apply) following her arrest on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and retail theft. Her court date is set for Aug. 21, the sheriff's website updated.
Friday, July 26
Ignacio Briseno-Lopez, 24, of North Chicago, was arrested Friday, July 26 at Sheridan Road and Beach Road, Beach Park, on accusations of driving 87 mph in a 40 mph zone (speeding), driving while license revoked and with no insurance, and on a warrant for failure to appear for charges of driving while license revoked, driving while license suspended, and unlawful possession of cannabis. According to a sheriff's office report, his bond was set at $60,000, and his court date is Aug. 16.
Failure to register as violent offender
Jordan D. Gantar, 40, of unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of failing to register as a violent offender. He was released on recognizance bond, and his court date is set for Aug. 13.
Saturday, July 27
Angel Montemayor, 39, of Ingleside, was arrested on July 27 in the 26400 block of
W. Wooster Lake Drive, Ingleside, on accusations of obstructing identification, driving while license revoked, and on a warrant for failure to appear on aggravated DUI and criminal trespassing (building) charges. A report from the sheriff's office lists his bond at $50,000, with a court date set for Aug. 16.
