Fright Fest At Six Flags Great America: Tickets, Schedule, More

GURNEE, IL — Zombies and witches and ghouls, oh my! Fright Fest kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at Six Flags Great America. The annual spooky event spreads frightening Halloween fun throughout the amusement park Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Nov. 3, and 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in addition to (of course) Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. According to Six Flags, this spooky time of year features activities and thrills for the whole family, though Six Flags warns Fright Fest may be too intense for kids ages 13 and under.

Make your way through several haunted houses and scare zones throughout the day and night, and enjoy shows, rides and other attractions throughout the park.

Be sure to utilize the Fright Fest Opening Sale and purchase tickets online in an effort to beat the October crowds and experience the fun early. Six Flags advises anyone visiting after Oct. 6 to still buy tickets online at least one day in advance to still save money.
