Grayslake Police Find Person Fatally Shot In Hotel
Authorities believe the fatal gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — The Grayslake Police Department is investigating the cause of death for a person who was found fatally shot at a hotel in Grayslake over the weekend.
Authorities were called to the Comfort Suites, 1775 E. Belvedere Road, at about 12:45 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a person who was shot. When they arrived, they found a person who appeared to have sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
As of this point, authorities believe the gunshot wound was "self-inflicted," according to a news release from the Grayslake Police Department.
