Grayslake Woman ID'd As Victim In Parking Lot Death Investigation
The Lake County Coroner's Office said autopsy and toxicology results are pending in the case.
GURNEE, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office responded to the Jewel-Osco parking lot in Gurnee at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 10 for a death investigation involving a victim who the coroner's office identified as 30-year-old Tiffany Diamond, of Grayslake, according to a release. Lake County Coroner Dr. Howard Cooper said an autopsy was performed on Diamond at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11.
"The preliminary autopsy results, as well as toxicology, are pending," Howard said, in a release. “We have been in close contact with Ms. Diamond’s family and our deepest condolences go out to them during this difficult time.”
Howard added that the investigation into Diamond's death continues by the coroner's office and the Gurnee Police Department.
