Grayslake Woman Killed After Crashing Into Parked Semi At Rest Stop

The collision happened​ at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the westbound Indiana Toll Road rest stop.

ROLLING PRAIRIE, INDIANA — A 73-year-old Grayslake woman was killed after she veered off the Indiana Toll Road near Rolling Prairie, Indiana, on Sunday afternoon and hit a parked semi at a rest stop, authorities said.

The Post-Tribune is reporting the collision happened at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the westbound Indiana Toll Road rest stop at mile marker 56. Indiana State Police said the driver of the Toyota Rav4 drove under the semi-trailer and was found dead in her vehicle.

She's been identified as Marcie Rodrigues of Grayslake, according to the article.
