Huge Garage Sale, Car Wash and Benefit Concerts This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? You could always check out a local garage sale. Or stop and have your car washed at the Grayslake Central Cheer Program car wash.

Huge Garage Sale
A multi-family garage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6-7 at 290 Lexington Lane, Grayslake. Items for sale will include clothes, electronics and tools.
Car Wash for Cheer Program
The GCHS Cheer Program is holding a car wash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Grayslake Fire Station, 160 Hawley St., according to the GCHS Sports website.
Concerts for Autism
Port of Blarney will hold a two-day concert extravaganza to benefit the Autism Society of Illinois. Forty bands are slated to play on four stages Sept. 7-8 at Port of Blarney, located at 27843 W. Grass Lake Road, Antioch. Tickets are $10 for one day or $15 for both days. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 8. Find more information here.
