Man Run Over By Skid Steer In Gurnee Dies
The man, who was in his 30s, was hit by the skid steer while working Friday morning. He died two days later, officials said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — A construction worker has died after a co-worker ran him over with a skid steer last week.
The construction worker had been contracted to complete work at an Illinois Tollway Authority maintenance building near the Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee when he appeared to walk in front of the miniature bulldozer and was run over, the Daily Herald is reporting. The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
The man was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The man, who was in his 30s, died Sunday afternoon, Lake County chief deputy coroner Steve Newton told the Lake & McHenry County Scanner.
