Missing Gurnee-Area Woman Found Safe: Lake County Sheriff

The Lake County Sheriff's Office thanked the community for their help in locating Crabtree.

GURNEE, IL — A Gurnee-area woman reportedly missing for almost three weeks has been located and is safe, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. On Monday, July 1, the sheriff's office asked the public to help locate 35-year-old Rebecca L. Crabtree, who authorities said was last seen at her home June 16 in the 18000 block of W. Stockton Court, in unincorporated Gurnee on June 16.

According to the sheriff's office, before this most recent time, Crabtree had gone missing in the past before being located in Park Ridge, Woodstock and Lake Forest.

On Wednesday, the sheriff's office thanked the community for their help in locating Crabtree, but did not provide any other details regarding how she was found.
