Park City Man Accused Of Burglarizing Gurnee Home: Police
The Park City man is being held at the Lake County Jail on accusations of felony burglary.

PARK CITY, IL — A Park City man was arrested Friday as a result of an investigation into a reported burglary at a Gurnee home, according to a release from the Gurnee Police Department. At 12:45 p.m., July 10, police officers went to the home in the 500 block of Belle Plane Avenue for a reported burglary, and witnesses told police they saw a male running from the house before police got there, according to the release. Police said the front door of the house had been kicked open, and detectives were able to get pictures of the suspect and his car during the investigation.
With the help of the Park City Police Department, Lawrence K. Starks, 51, was identified as the suspect in this case, according to the release. Gurnee police got a warrant and arrested Starks at his Park City home. He was accused and booked at the Lake County Jail on one count of felony residential burglary.
According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, Starks' bond has been set at $50,000 (with 10 percent to apply), and next court date is set for Aug. 20.
