Piano, Voice Lessons At Songbird Studio Inc. in Grayslake

A new Grayslake business is all about helping people find the love of music. Songbird Studio Inc., located on Route 83 in Grayslake, will open September 10.

An Open House is scheduled from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. Owner and instructor Becky Cappelli wants to share her love of music with students. 

"I love music and I want to share that with others," Cappelli said. "Music brings joy to people of all ages."

Cappelli has 10 years experience in music instruction. She said she knows that every student has a different reason for taking lessons. She tailors each lesson to the needs of the student.

"For younger kids, I focus on connecting with them and bringing in an element of fun. I want to teach them that music can be fun," she said. "For older kids, music lessons can help improve confidence."

She said she wanted to open a studio conveniently located to attract students from Grayslake, Libertyville and surrounding communities. Songbird Studio Inc. is located at 564 Barron Blvd. (Route 83), Suite A, Grayslake, across from Frederick School.

Songbird Studio Inc. has a comfortable waiting area, a bathroom and a music studio. Opening the business is a way for Cappelli to help others understand, appreciate and enjoy music.

"I simply love sharing music with others from kids to adults," she said. "There is a great fulfillment in connecting with people through music."
