LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's office responded to several crime incidents in recent days:
Tuesday, Nov. 5
Resisting a correctional officer
Sharahd Davis, 25, from the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of resisting a correctional officer at the Lake County Jail on Nov. 5, while being held on other charges. Davis' court date is set for Dec. 2.

Aggravated battery to a peace officer, other
Henry M. Dolan, 23, from the 0 to 100 block of Laurel Avenue, Lake Forest, was arrested on Nov. 5 on accusations of aggravated battery to a peace officer, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, resisting a peace officer, and DUI (drugs). His bond was set at $40,000 and his court date is listed as Nov. 14.

Thursday, Nov. 7
Warrant arrest: Parole violation
Hershel Phillips, 23, from the 6900 block of S. Carpenter Drive, Chicago, was arrested Thursday at Old Route 41 and State Line Road, unincorporated Wadsworth, on a warrant for parole violation. No bail has been set and he's being held at the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Friday, Nov. 8
False report to 911
Michael A. Freeh, 49, from the 26000 block of W. Spring Grove Road, uunincorporated Antioch, was arrested Friday at the above address on accusations of providing a false report to 911. He's bond was set at $20,000 (recognizance), and according to the sheriff's office, his court date is set for Nov. 19.
Warrant arrest: Unlawful possession of a controlled substance
Derek A. Ventresca, 31, from the 200 block of Gladys Avenue, Fox River Grove, was arrested Friday in the 37900 block of N. Wilson Avenue, Beach Park, on a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $40,000, and according to the sheriff's office, his court date is set for Nov. 14.
