Round Lake Park Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting, Beating Woman
A 28-year-old female reported being held against her will for hours while being repeatedly sexually assaulted and beaten at an area home.

ROUND LAKE PARK, IL — Round Lake Park Police Department officers were notified at 8:16 p.m. Saturday of a possible domestic violence victim at the Grayslake Emergency Center in Round Lake Beach. According to a news release from the Round Lake Park Police Department, a 28-year-old female said she had been held against her will for hours while being repeatedly sexually assaulted and beaten by a male at a home in the 400 block of Bellevue Drive in Round Lake Park.
Round Lake Park officers with the assistance of the Lake County Sheriff's office executed a search warrant on the Bellevue Drive home Sunday, and an arrest warrant was issued Monday for Salvador Pacheco, 28, of the same address, police said.
Pacheco was arrested by Round Lake Park officers immediately after the warrant was issued, and facing several felony charges, including three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated domestic battery, according to the news release. He's being held at the Lake County Jail on a $750,000 bond, police added.

The victim was treated and released.
“It’s still difficult to comprehend what one human being is capable of doing to another,” Round Lake Park Police Chief George Filenko said, according to the release.
