Search Underway For Gurnee Woman Who's Gone Missing In Past

The sheriff's office said Monday morning that on June 16, Rebecca. L. Crabtree was ​driving a 2011 GMC Yukon and left without her phone.

GURNEE, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help locate a missing 35-year-old woman who police said was last seen at her home in the 18000 block of West Stockton Court, in unincorporated Gurnee on June 16. The sheriff's office said Monday morning that on June 16, Rebecca. L. Crabtree was driving a black 2011 GMC Yukon (Illinois Registration AC80645), and left without her cellphone and other belongings.

The sheriff's office said Crabtree is described as being 5'6, 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes (see photos), and has gone missing in the past before being located in Park Ridge, Woodstock and Lake Forest.

According to the sheriff's office, the SUV has damage on the rear driver's side, black duct tape around the passenger side mirror, and doesn't have a front license plate.

The sheriff's office asks if you see Crabtree, her vehicle, or have information about her current whereabouts, please call 911 so authorities can do a well-being check.
