“I’m thrilled to share an inside look into our family’s wild life through the world of wrestling and rock n roll,” Mendel said in a statement announcing the new series.
Interviews with family members, wrestlers and bandmates provide additional insight into Corgan and Mendel's world.
The show is produced by The Nacelle Company, which was also behind the Emmy-winning Netflix series "Down To Earth with Zac Efron" and NAACP Image award-nominated "Kevin Hart’s Guide To Black History," as well as Netflix’s "The Movies That Made Us" and "The Toys That Made Us."
“Getting to work with Chloe and Billy has been one of the highlights of my career, and I will be eternally grateful for letting us into their lives and businesses (which I know the world will enjoy watching),” said Nacelle CEO Brian Volk-Weiss, the director and executive producer of "Adventures in Carnyland."
The CW already has a deal with NWA, which airs its scripted wrestling events live and on-demand online via their app and streaming services.
"Every day I question my sanity," Corgan says in a trailer for the show, "because I have a really good day job."
