Chamber of Commerce Throws Holiday Party
Politicians, business owners eat, drink and mingle.
Local politicians, business owners and residents shared food, drink and conversation last Thursday at to celebrate the holiday season at the Chamber of Commerce's .
, City Councilmen , and as well as mingled with chamber members and local merchants through the evening of Dec. 1.
"This Holiday Celebration/100th Annual Meeting is a wonderful cap to the Chamber’s Centennial Year," Highland Park Chamber of Commerce Executive Director said at the event. "We are proud of all the positive energy in the room."

Food was provided by Highland Park restaurants , , , as well as , Whole Foods and Bent Fork Bakery.
"You're not really doing business," said of the event, "You're just having fun."

Lederer spent most of the evening pouring beer, wine and martinis for attendees. The restauranteur often helps out with chamber events, something he says is an important way to stay involved with the city.
"If you look at a lot of successful businesses in town," Lederer explained, "They're involved in a lot of facets of the community."
