Cos Bar Cuts Ribbon Thursday

Are you ready for a bar that lifts the spirits without serving any? That is what the Cos Bar brings to Highland Park. Though open for a few month, it cuts a ribbon for its grand opening at 2 p.m. Thursday followed by what it terms a gala reception from 4 to 7 p.m. at 662 Central Avenue.

Giants Entertain Waukegan

Highland Park High School’s football team will try to improve its record to 3-1 when it entertains Waukegan at 7 p.m. Friday at Wolters Field.

Highland Park Poetry Has Special Guest, Open Mike

If poetry is your thing, Highland Park Poetry brings guest poet Andrea Witzke to The Art Center at 8 p.m. Friday. There will also be an open microphone.

Northbrook Court Offers Job Fair

More than 50 businesses will be setting up shot at job fair from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Northbrook Court. There will also be human resources experts to help job seekers with their resumes.
