Dead Relative's Belongings Missing, Package Theft: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.
THEFT
- Residential - Nov. 17 at 10:21 a.m.
- While going through a deceased relative's belongings, a resident noticed several items missing and called the police. The total estimated loss is unknown.
- Residential - Nov. 17 at 1:22 p.m.
- A package delivered to a home in the 2400 block of Tennyson Lane was reported stolen off the porch. The total estimated loss is $300.
- Vehicle - Nov. 20 at 5:53 p.m.
- Staff at the Genesis of Highland Park car dealership reported that a license plate was stolen off of a loaner vehicle.
- Retail - Nov. 21 at 3:19 p.m.
- Police received a report of a theft from Target at 209 Skokie Valley Road. Staff told officers that a man was at the store the day before and took approximately $120 of merchandise without paying.
