Giants Play for League Title
The Giant football team slipped by Niles North Friday, 21-20, Friday to remain unbeaten in Central Suburban League North Division play to set up a season finale with Glenbrook North at 7 p.m. Friday at Wolters Field. The Spartans are also undefeated in conference play. The winner will be crowned champion.

Regardless of the outcome, Highland Park has already secured a berth in the Illinois High School Association playoffs and will learn when it opens post season play Saturday night.

Sunset Foods will host a Halloween party at 10 a.m. Saturday with free pumpkin carving and caramel apples as well as other appropriate treats.
