Gun Blast Hits Home’s Window

Criminal Damage to Property 

Police are investigating a delayed report of criminal damage to property. Unknown person(s) shot a front window of a residence located in the 1900 block of Beverly Place with what appears to be from a BB gun on Sept. 20 at approximately 9:30p.m., according to Highland Park Police reports.

Police are investigating a report of a theft of a black I-Phone 5 cell phone, case, and headphones from an unattended open gym bag Sept. 21 left on the west sideline at Wolters Field located in the 1000 block of Park Avenue West, according to Highland Park Police reports

Darrin Reed, 29 of North Chicago was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 23 in Park City.
