Highland Park Approves New Drive-Thru Dunkin' Donuts
The City Council had previously been split on the zoning petition for the store at Green Bay Road and Second Street.

The Highland Park City Council this week approved a zoning request to build a drive-thru Dunkin’ Donuts at the former Mobil gas property at Green Bay Road and Second Street, the Highland Park News reports.
In July, the council deadlocked 3-3 on the issue, with opponents worried about traffic backing up onto the busy road during morning rush hour.
Monday, Paul Frank changed his vote to a yes, saying he was reassured by the new traffic analysis and the owner’s pledge to keep traffic from backing up onto the streets, the News article says.
