James "Jim" Humphrey, 78, January 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Georgann for 22 wonderful years, loving stepfather of Marcus (Alix) Kupferschmidt and Scott Kupferschmidt, cherished "Grandpa Jim" of Liam and Noa Kupferschmidt. Preceded in death by his adored parents Albert and Edith Humphrey. Jim was a dedicated corporate accountant for Comcast who was often found working. When he had time off he enjoyed competitive sports pools - baseball, football or his beloved UVA Basketball. Jim was passionate about all things Bridge. He played bridge all over the world and even met his much loved wife Georgann through bridge.

Interment Randhill Memorial Park. Chapel service, Monday, January 22, 2024, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
