Highland Park Obituary: Lenore Santi, 85

Lenore N. Santi, nee Phillips, died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the age of 85.

Lenore was born in Highwood, IL and graduated from Highland Park High School and St. Therese School of Nursing. She celebrated 30 successful years as a surgical nurse at Highland Park Hospital and completed her career as Supervisor of nurses.

Post-retirement, Lenore pursued her favorite hobby of antiquing: collecting, selling, and conducting shows and estate sales.

Lenore was a loving and supportive wife of 61 years to the late David M. Santi; proud mother of Jane Santi and Jeff (Tammy) Santi; beloved grandmother of Jessi, Jake and David; cherished sister of Eileen Favelli; dearest aunt of Thomas (Georgia) Favelli, the late David Favelli and Steven Favelli. She was a strong and vibrant cousin and friend to many. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Joseph Phillips and Mrs. Eva Cervi.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 9 am until time of funeral mass 10 am at St. James Church, 134 North Ave., Highwood, IL. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
