HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

  • Residential- Nov. 10 at 3:12 p.m.
    • A resident reported to police that it seemed several items were stolen from their home in the 3500 block of Patten Road between Sept. 17 and Nov. 10. The total estimated loss is unknown.
  • Vehicle - Nov. 14 at 6:57 a.m.
    • A resident who left their keys in their 2017 Ford Explorer parked in the 800 block of Deerfield Road told police that it was stolen overnight.
  • Retail - Nov. 15 at 4:54 p.m.
    • Staff at the Ulta at 135 Skokie valley Road reported that a man took items from inside without paying.

BURGLARY

  • Vehicle - Nov. 10 at 5:01 p.m
    • Police received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 900 block of Augusta Way that happened between Nov. 7 and 10. Several items were reported stolen, including cash. The total estimated loss was $1,400.

TRESPASSING

  • Storage Unit - Nov. 10 at 3:32 p.m
    • Police received a report of trespassing in the 900 block of Augusta Way. The reporting party told police that several items were stolen from their storage unit, totaling about $4,000.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • Vehicle - Nov. 14 at 11:43 p.m
    • A hotel employee at the Marriott located at 1505 County Line Road reported to police that a glass door was broken near the indoor pool.
