HP Police Arrest 6 for DUI, 2 of Them Teens

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

David Cajka, 30, of the 8700 block of 82nd St. in Pleasant Prairie, WI was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and open transportation of alcohol after police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 1900 block of Second St. at 8:30 a.m. July 23. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 15 court date.

R. Gary Diaz, 58, of the 1000 block of Half Day Road in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device after police responded to a driving complaint and stopped the vehicle in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road at 9 p.m. July 25. Diaz was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Aug. 15 court date.

Janett Wolk, 39, of the 1500 block of Central Avenue in Deerfield, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle and no lights illuminated after police responded to a driving complaint in the 1600 block of Old Skokie Road at 12:15 a.m. July 26. She was released on a cash bond with a Sept. 12 court date.

Aldhair Roldan, 18, of the 200 block of Waukegan Ave. in Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle and no valid drivers license after police responded to an anonymous report of suspicious activity in the 2900 block of Western Avenue at 5:30 a.m. July 27. Roldan was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 5 court date.

Uteva Logan, 22, of the 1900 block of W. Eagle Ridge Dr. in Waukegan, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4 a.m. July 27. Logan was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 5 court date.

Carlos Sauceda, 18, of the 9900 block of E. Yorkhouse Rd. in Beach Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:30 a.m. July 27. Sauceda was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 5 court date.
