The Highland Park Community Foundation recognizes excellence in local teaching with its annual Golden Apple award. This year, the award will go to a teacher currently teaching at District 113’s Highland Park High School. Nominations are open until December 1, 2013. Nominations can be made by students, teachers, administrators and community members. Nomination forms can be found at www.hphs.dist113.org.
