The Highland Park-based Time to Dance (TTD), dedicated to enriching the health and quality of life for adults through dance, has the perfect gift for that dance enthusiast age 50+ on your list: A Time To Dance Gift Card!

“Studies show that structured dance is therapeutic and has direct benefits that include increased stability, muscle strength, improved reaction time, cognitive improvements, tactile and motor skills performance, perceptual abilities and overall wellbeing,” says TTD co-founder Dr. Lynne Chervony Belsky. “But even more important…it’s fun!”, adds TTD co-founder Lisa Gold. “So, we are thrilled to offer this chance for you to give someone the opportunity to experience the joy of movement, enjoy a new outlet for artistic expression and maybe discover a new community of friends.”

Gift options include a $15 Drop-In Pass for a single class, or $130 for a 10-Class Pass. Class options include ballet, modern, tap, fitness and Pilates mat. Beginners are welcome. Class participants should wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement. Footwear options include socks, ballet shoes or gym shoes. Classes are conducted year-round at North Shore School of Dance 505 Laurel Ave. Highland Park, Ill. and on Zoom. For more information visit time-to-dance.org.
