Lexus Stolen From Driveway on Hill Street

THEFT / CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

Mark Taussig, 46, of the 9700 block of Woods Drive in Skokie, was arrested and charged June 7 with theft and criminal damage to property after removing and causing damage to a hard sided rear tire cover from a Jeep Wrangler parked in a lot in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road. Taussig was released on a personal recognizance bond with a June 23 court date.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Stephanie Waight, 29, of the 900 block of Kings Row in Palatine, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Temple Avenue at 2:30 a.m. June 7. Waight was released on a personal recognizance bond with a July 9 court date.

THEFT

Someone stole a black and red golf bag with 14 Titleist golf clubs inside from the Highland Park Country Club sometime between 2:30 and 4 p.m. June 2. The golf bag was left unattended on the luggage rack outside.

Someone stole stock 22-inch wheels and unknown tires from a 2011 Cadillac Escalade sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. at a business in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road.

Someone stole a white iPhone 5 sometime between 4 and 5:30 p.m. June 3 after being left in an unsecured locker at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road.

A hand made stainless steel address sign was taken from a front lawn near the sidewalk at the southeast corner of Sheridan Road and Forest Avenue between June 2 at 9:30 p.m. and June 4 at 9:30 p.m.

Two stone flower pots were taken from the front of a residence in the 200 block of Woodland Road sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. June 6.

Copper downspouts were removed from a residence in the 3500 block of Buena Road. The front downspout was removed between May 30 and June 1 and the rear downspout was removed sometime on June 6.

STOLEN AUTO

Someone stole a locked, white 2014 Lexus GX460 from a driveway in the 600 block of Hill Street sometime between 11 p.m. June 3 and 7:30 a.m. June 4.  Both sets of keys are accounted for.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A group of 5-10 people walking damaged a fence in the 800 block of Deerfield Road at 10:30 p.m. June 6.
