Moraine Township Approves Its Largest Grant Program
More than $300,000 in grant funding has been awarded to 25 various non-profits.

Twenty-five local non-profit organizations will benefit from Moraine Township's annual grant program.
The township, which includes the communities of Highwood, Highland Park, Deefield and Lake Forest, recently approved $307,500 in grants, the highest amount ever awarded, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Grants for the following organizations were recommended by the township's six-member Citizen Grant Advisory Committee and approved by the township board.

The largest amount, $52,000, was awarded to Family Service in Highland Park, which provides senior and caregiver services, counseling for all ages and Latino support services.

FOCUS on the Arts 2015: $2,000
Highland Park Community Nursery School & Day Care Center: $50,000
Jewish Child & Family Services/JCFS: $5,000
Jewish Council for Youth Services/JCYS Champ Camp: $20,000
Josselyn Center: $6,000
Lambs Farm: $3,500
Links-North Shore Youth Health Service: $4,000
New Foundation Center: $2,500
Nurture: $6,000
Oak Terrace PTA/TASK Program: $2,000
