The NSSD-112 board unanimously approved the new roles on Tuesday night.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — North Shore School District 112 board members on Tuesday unanimously approved more than a half-dozen role transitions at the end of the current school year.
"I am excited and proud that North Shore School District 112 continues to develop leaders to serve our students, staff, and families,” Deputy Superintendent Monica Schroeder said, announcing the promotions and transfers.
“Each of these individuals brings a unique blend of experience, dedication, and passion, and I am confident that their collective expertise will elevate the educational experience for our students," Schroeder said. Coleen Goodrich, the 2023 Illinois Principals Association Assistant Principal of the Year, will move from Wayne Thomas Elementary School to Edgewood Middle School.
"Her ability to support and develop the instructional knowledge and skills of our teachers has been invaluable. She provides direct coaching, professional development, and lesson planning with our staff daily, and has resulted in significant student achievement," Former Wayne Thomas Principal Michael Rodrigo said in a statement last year. "As a result of her work, our students grew 29% on the IAR assessment. This increase led to the highest level of attainment in our school history.”
Before joining the Wayne Thomas staff three years ago, she was associate principal at Red Oak Dual Language School for two years and taught elementary school students in Hoffman Estates.
Edgewood Assistant Principal Arielle Gleicher will take over as principal of Wayne Thomas, since Rodrigo has been recently promoted to director of personnel services. Gleicher previously worked as a middle school teacher and instructional coach.
Gleicher will be joined at Wayne Thomas by her fellow Edgewood assistant principal, Jaclyn Wagner, who will continue in the same role next year.
Two current administrators named Jeremy will also have new titles, according to district staff.
Jeremy Wickham, who has had roles like director of technology and associate principal at Oak Terrace Elementary School during his five years with the district, will become executive director of technology and operations. And Jeremy Davis, an assistant superintendent since 2021, will become assistant superintendent for business services and chief school business officer.
And James Bock, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who joined the district's maintenance team from the private sector in 2020, was promoted to director of operations, facilities and transportation.
