Police Arrest Chicagoan for Alleged Involvement in HP Drug Overdose

Days after a Highland Park resident died from a drug overdose, Highland Park police arrested someone who may have supplied the drugs.

Highland Park police have charged 19-year-old Steven Rosellini for supplying drugs that ultimately led to the death of Highland Park resident Dylan Hadley. 

Rosellini, a Chicago resident, was arrested this morning for drug induced homicide, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. The Lake County Court set his bond at $500,000.

Hadley, 20, of the 1400 block of Ridge Road,  overdosed on opiates on Oct. 4. With the help of the Lake County Coroners Office and the Chicago Police Department, HPPD investigated and found a link between the Oct. 3 delivery of Hadley's drugs and Rosellini.

Rosellini was remanded to the custody of the Lake County Sheriff until his Nov. 4 court date.
