Police Blotter: More Car Burglaries
The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aggravated Battery
Miranda Tucker, 17, of the 1800 block of Stratford Road, Highland Park, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated battery after police were called to the report of a battery in the 700 block of Red Oak Lane in Highland Park. Tucker was transported to bond court.

Police were called to a report of an unusual gathering of cars and youths in the street around the 900 block of Ridgewood Place, Highland Park. Six juvenile subjects were taken into custody for consumption and/or possession of alcohol. Two juveniles also charged with resisting a peace officer for running from the location and were later apprehended.
Theft

Police are investigating the report of a theft (missing jewelry) sometime between Aug. 15 and Oct. 26, 2011 in the 2900 block of Idlewood Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a theft (snow plow with a red blade and a black metal frame) in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a theft (purple Coach wallet with $50 cash, two iPod Nanos, digital camera, gold necklace and ring and two watches taken) in the 2100 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.
Driving under the influence
James Rogers, 18, of the 1800 block of Northland Avenue, Highland Park, was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol by minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful dumping/littering on private property after police were called to the 1600 block of Friar Tuck Avenue in Highland Park for a report of individuals smashing pumpkins on a driveway. Rogers was released on bond with a court date of Dec. 10.
Adam Gil, 33, of the 8000 block of Major, Burbank, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police near the intersection of Central Avenue and Green Bay Road in Highland Park. Gil was released on bond with a court date of Dec. 2.
Anselmo Valdes, 25, of the 1700 block of Greenwood Road, Glenview, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and no valid drivers license after police were called to the report of a single car auto accident in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park. Valdes was released on bond with a court date of Dec, 2.
Victoria Voltz, 60, of the 900 block of Green Bay Road, Winnetka, was arrested and charged with driving under the Influence, after police were called to the report of an auto accident in the 700 block of Park Avenue West in Highland Park. Voltz was released on bond with a court date of Dec. 2.
Marcos Lira-Campos, 26, of the 6500 block of 48th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving with unsafe equipment (blown tire) after police were called to the report of an auto traveling with a blown tire emitting a large amount of smoke in the 1200 block of Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park. Lira-Campos was released on bond with a court date of Dec. 2.
Driving while license suspended
Alma Rodriguez, 28, of the 2700 block of Lawndale Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and no registration after being stopped by police near the intersection of Beverly Place and Central Avenue, Highland Park. Rodriguez was released on bond with a court date of Nov. 23.
Deshawn Anderson, 22, of the 3500 block of Van Buren Street, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1800 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Anderson was released on bond with a court date of Dec 14.
Burglary
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from an unlocked motor vehicle (Motorola Droid cell phone) in the 800 block of Laurel Avenue, Highland Park, Illinois.
Police are investigating the delayed report of a burglary from motor vehicle (miscellaneous construction tools, catalytic converter and car battery) in the 1400 block of Old Deerfield Road, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from unlocked motor vehicle (laptop taken) in the 800 block of Pleasant Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from unlocked motor vehicle (laptop, iPod and personal items taken) in the 800 block of Burton Avenue, Highland Park. It was also found that one of the vehicle tires was slashed.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from two unlocked motor vehicles (miscellaneous amount of change) in the 1100 block of Wade Street, Highland Park, Illinois.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from two unlocked motor vehicles (two compact discs missing) in the 1300 block of St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from an unlocked motor vehicle (GPS taken) in the 1300 block of Ridgewood Drive, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from an unlocked motor vehicle (wrapped gifts taken – later found thrown in a neighboring yard) in the 700 block of Detamble Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from an unlocked motor vehicle (Chanel sunglasses and a GPS were taken) in the 900 block of Burton Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a residential burglary (residence was ransacked - unknown if any items taken) sometime between 1:40 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. Entry was gained via force through a rear locked door the 1000 block of Kent Avenue, Highland Park.
Police are investigating the report of a burglary from an unlocked motor vehicle (items moved around, nothing taken) between Nov. 4 and 5 in the 1100 block of Wade Street, Highland Park.
Criminal trespass to vehicle
Police are investigating the report of a criminal trespass to vehicle in the 400 block of Beech Street, Highland Park. It was reported that the vehicle was entered, items were moved around and nothing was taken.

Consumption of alcohol by minors
Kyle Mayer, 18, of the 16000 block of Pope Blvd., Prairie View, was cited for consumption of alcohol by minor after police were called to the report of theft and later found Mayer and another juvenile subject under the influence of alcohol in the 2100 block of St. Johns Avenue in Highland Park. Mayer was issued an administrative citation with a court date of Dec. 15.
Criminal damage to property
Police are investigating the report of criminal damage to property in the 600 block of Central Avenue, Highland Park. It was reported that several (approximately 10) corn stalk decorative displays had been tossed about the ground.
