Ravinia Festival Continues For Two Long Weekends In Fall And Winter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Though activity peaks at the Ravinia Festival during the summer, live music lasts through the fall and winter on festival grounds.

For two long weekends in October and December, guests can enjoy some of nature's greatest performances before the music as leaves change color along the open trails. Tickets begin at just $20 at Ravinia.org.

The Fall Series will go from Oct. 23 to 26 and will feature performances by the Rosamunde String

Quartet (Oct. 23), Take 6 (Oct. 24), Justin Roberts (Oct. 25), Sam Bush (Oct. 25), and Ben Jones and Laurence Hobgood (Oct. 25, 26).

The Winter Weekend will be Dec. 4 through 7 and will feature holiday-themes performances by

The Klezmatics with “Happy Joyous Hannukah” (Dec. 4), Kevin Cole’s “COLE in Your Stocking” (Dec. 5), the Canadian Brass (Dec. 6), and piano trio Mr. Chair performing “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (Dec. 7).
