2 Hinsdale Women Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops

They were jailed after separate incidents in different local neighborhoods, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police on Tuesday released their weekly blotter. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 50-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 100 block of South Park Avenue was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Monday at her house on a domestic battery charge. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 55-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 200 block of West 59th Street was arrested Monday on a domestic battery charge. Police said the incident occurred a day earlier at her house. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

  • A 52-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 300 block of Claymoor Street was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at 55th and Grant streets on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to report an accident. The woman crashed a car into a pole. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 40-year-old Palos Heights man was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Ogden Avenue and Lincoln Street on charges of DUI and speeding. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Theft

  • Someone stole a woman's cash, state identification and bank card Sunday at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, 600 W. Ogden Ave. It was while she was a patient there.
