'Alarming' Comments At Hinsdale Medical Office: Cops
In another case, a Hinsdale woman was charged with domestic battery, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving disorderly conduct, domestic battery, a scam, DUI and a broken window. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Disorderly conduct
- A 59-year-old Westmont man was cited about 9 a.m. Thursday in the medical office building at 908 N. Elm St. on a disorderly conduct charge. The man made comments of "an alarming and disturbing nature" to medical staff, police said. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A 25-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 300 block of West 59th Street was arrested about 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at her house on a domestic battery charge. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Posing as a deputy
- A person posing as a sheriff's deputy called a resident in the 400 block of Ashbury Drive on Saturday. The resident was instructed to transfer money through electronic transactions to avoid being arrested. The case is pending.

- A 25-year-old Addison woman was arrested about 11 p.m. Dec. 4 at Ogden Avenue and York Street on charges of DUI, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving an uninsured car and failure to report an accident to police. She was involved in a single-car crash. She had an open bottle of wine in the car. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 23-year-old Plainfield man was arrested about 4 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 400 block of 55th Street on charges of DUI and speeding 35 or more over the limit. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 42-year-old Woodridge man was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue on a DUI charge. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 28-year-old Westmont woman was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at Ogden Avenue and Lincoln Street on charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving an uninsured car and improper lane use. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 44-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use and transportation of open alcohol by a driver. She had an open container of alcohol in the car. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Broken window
- Someone broke a window on an apartment door Friday in the 10 block of South Washington Street. The damage was reported the next day.
