CH Historical Society Fundraises to Overcome Arson
A Nov. 22 fundraising event and a gofundme page aim to raise money for Heritage Hall.

The Clarendon Hills Historical Society is raising money to renovate Heritage Hall, the home of the society’s offices and future museum, after suspected arson fire damaged the building in August.
The society will host a Football, Funding and Food fundraiser Nov. 22 at Scapa’s Italian Restaurant, 1 Walker Ave., Clarendon Hills.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the noon kickoff of Bears vs Broncos. Tickets are $30 per adult and include an Italian-style buffet. Babysitting is available at the Park District community room. For more information, contact Meredith at 630-974-9497.

Raffles will take place throughout the game, with prizes including cash and gift cards.
The Clarendon Hills Historical Society is also accepting donations online through a gofundme page.

“This building has been and will continue to be very important to the Society in providing for our community,” the page states. “We will continue our fundraising to complete the space and open it up to the public. But, for now we need to raise money to cover our out of pocket expenses associated with this tragic set of circumstances.”
