Halloween House Decorating Contest Winners Chosen

Submitted by the Clarendon Hills Park District.

Congratulations to the Maas Family, who captured first prize in the Clarendon Hills Park District’s Second Annual Halloween House Decorating Contest.

The Marron Family received the second place award, while the McMahon and Hart families tied for third place.

Prizes were sponsored by The Daily Scoop in downtown Clarendon Hills. Participation more than doubled in this year’s event.

Judges viewed the 10 entries on the night of Oct. 28, and winners were notified Oct. 30. P

The only rule of the contest was that homeowners were responsible for the installation and set up of all decorations.

The Maas Family, the first place winners in the contest, moved to Clarendon Hills one year ago.
