Hinsdale Central Boys Soccer Named NSCAA High School Team Academic Award Recipient

Hinsdale Central High School proudly announced that today it has received notification from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) that the 2014-15 Red Devils Boys Soccer Team has been recognized with the High School Team Academic Award. The team has earned this distinction each year since 2007.

The NSCAA annually recognizes high school soccer programs that excel in the classroom as well as on the field. According to the NSCAA, the team was one of 150 boys teams recognized nationwide for this honor. To qualify for this award, the team had to hold a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player’s GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
