As part of its celebration of Illinois Art Week, Hinsdale Central High School celebrated a “Live Day of Art” on Friday, Nov. 13.
Freshman through senior artists from a variety of art classes participated in the activity creating art outside the cafeteria all day. The students began their projects in the morning, finishing them by the end of the day.

Students worked with a multitude of different media, creating paintings, drawings, hand building in clay, digital art, 3-D sculptures, glass, illustrations; they conducted wheel-throwing demonstrations and worked on a large-scale mural.
This event is the annual finale to a week of art celebration for Illinois Arts Week. Students were encouraged to show art spirit with artist bracelets, artist car magnets, artist pencils and Arts Week stickers.
