Tilted Kilt Franchisees Deceived with Big Money Projections: Lawsuit
An area developer is being sued for allegedly violating the terms of an agreement with Tilted Kilt.

Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery is suing over claims that an area developer led franchisees to believe Tilted Kilt restaurants could make $3 million or more each year.
Tilted Kilt filed a lawsuit in federal court against 1220 LLC, the developer for locations in northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin and northwest Indiana, according to the Cook County Record.

The company claims the owners of 1220 LLC violated the terms of their agreement and broke the law by giving franchisees inflated financial projections.
The lawsuit says 1220 LLC mislead franchisees who agreed to open locations in Vernon Hills and Kenosha, Wisconsin and set them set up for certain failure, the Cook County Record reports.

Tilted Kilt is asking for damages, protection against damages the developer might claim and for its agreement with 1220 LLC to end.
