Woman Sues Manorcare, Claims Neglect

A woman is suing over claims that Manorcare of Hinsdale and a nurse are responsible for neglect allegedly leading to a death.

Irene Gajc filed a lawsuit in Cook County against the hospital, Manorcare Health Services, a nurse and Adventist Midwest Health, according to the Cook County Record.

Gajc claims in the suit that Richard Gajc developed sores while a resident of Manorcare in 2013, and neglect caused his death, the Record reported.

Irene Gajc is asking for damages in excess of $50,000 and legal costs.
