Worker Scarce In Hinsdale After Taking Cash: Cops
In another case, a woman stole a car from a delivery person in Hinsdale, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving home repair fraud, a stolen car, theft, damage, and a DUI. Here is information from the latest reports:
Home repair fraud
- A resident in the 100 block of East Hickory Street told police he gave a man a down payment for work to be done on his house. The man has not been returning the resident's calls. The case is pending.

- Jayme R. Fearon, 46, of Naperville, was arrested on a felony charge of possession of a stolen vehicle. The victim told police that his car was stolen while he was making a delivery about 1 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 800 block of South Monroe Street. Fearon was later stopped by Countryside police driving the stolen car. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Theft
- A leaf blower was stolen about 4:30 a.m. Saturday from a landscape trailer in the 500 block of North Garfield Avenue. The case is pending.
- A patient at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., told police Sunday that someone stole money from her purse in her room.
Damage

- A person damaged a fuel pump hose nozzle and drove away about 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Mobil gas station, 8 W. Chicago Ave. The case is pending.
DUI
- A 37-year-old Waukegan woman was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Ogden Avenue and Stonegate Road on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and driving on the wrong side of the road. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
