Fiddyment Creek Bridge Project Begins In Lockport
Work will take place along State Street, between Thornton Street to New Avenue, the City said.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Fiddyment Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project will start on Aug. 19, the City of Lockport shared on its Facebook.
Work will take place along State Street, between Thornton Street to New Avenue, the City said. The project is expected to be finished by December.
The plans include bridge deck resurfacing, expansion joint replacement, support repairs, roadway improvements, and a new left turn lane onto Franklin Street from southbound State Street.

There will be lane closures throughout the project, as well as a detour along Thornton Street redirecting traffic to Second Street between State Street and Hamilton Street.
