Lockport Boys' Soccer Team Advances To Sectional Championship
Lockport will play Lincoln-Way East in the sectional championship game on Saturday.
LOCKPORT, IL — Boys' soccer teams across the state are making their way through sectional competition play as the IHSA state championships are planned for Nov. 7-9.
The Lockport Township High School boys' soccer team has advanced to the sectional championships, which will be played on Saturday, against Lincoln-Way East.
Head Coach Chris Beal's team defeated Lincoln-Way Central, 1-0, on Tuesday to advance to the sectional championship game. Lockport also defeated Oak Lawn, 3-2, on Oct. 25, to earn a regional championship, according to IHSA.

The winner of the game on Saturday will move on to the super-sectional and face the winner of the Morton vs. Hinsdale Central match-up.
