Lockport Girls Volleyball Advances To First Round Of Sectionals

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School girls volleyball team has advanced to sectional competition, after winning a regional championship against Bolingbrook on Thursday.

According to IHSA, Lockport defeated Bolingbrook, 25-18, 25-13, to take a Class 4A regional championship.

Now, LTHS will face Lincoln-Way West in the first round of sectional competition on Nov. 5.

The winner of that game will move on to the sectional championship and play the winner of Oswego vs. Joliet West.

The state tournament for volleyball will be played Nov. 15-16 in Normal.
