Lockport's New Panda Express Now Open

The new Panda Express location opened its doors on Wednesday.

LOCKPORT, IL — The new Panda Express location in Lockport is opening its doors on Wednesday, according to a release from the business.

The new location, at 16000 Farrell Road, also marks the debut of a new "Panda Home" store design inspired by traditional Chinese architecture and traditions with modern motifs that tells the store of Panda Express, the business said.

The first 88 guests on Wednesday will get a free Panda Express T-shirt. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held with the Lockport Chamber of Commerce at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The new Panda Express location offers all of Panda’s iconic dishes, including the world-famous The Original Orange Chicken®, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Broccoli Beef, according to the business.

“Our entire Panda team is grateful to serve the Lockport community by providing new jobs and supporting local organizations through fundraising opportunities,” said Xochitl Herrera, Panda Express Area Coach of Operations. “We hope to be a lasting part of the community and welcome all guests into our doors to try our American Chinese favorites and discover their own.”

Store hours are Monday through Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (with drive-thru open until 10 p.m.).
